SSC Junior Engineer Results 2014 (JE Civil Mechanical)
SSC Junior Engineer Results 2014 are declared by SSC. SSC JE Results of Civil, Mechanical Electrical Engineer Results are uploaded into the SSC website http://www.ssc.nic.in. Staff Selection Commission conducted an open competitive examination for recruitment to the post of Jr. Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quantity Surveying and Contract) Exam. 2014 on 25.5.2014 on all India basis. SSC Junior Engineer Results 2014 were declared on 12.012.2014. 264945 candidates appeared in this examination.
Representations received from the candidates regarding answer keys were carefully examined. Wherever the representations were found genuine, modified answer keys were used for evaluation, Based upon the cut-offs fixed by the Commission, following are the details of the candidates qualifying for appearing in Paper 2. SSC Junior Engineer Scheme of the examination
The examination will be conducted in two stages:
A. Written Test (500 marks)
B. Interview ( 100 marks)
Only those candidates who secure at least the minimum qualifying marks in the written examination as may be fixed by the Commission at its discretion, will be eligible to appear in the Interview. The interview will be held at places as may be decided by the Commission. SC/ST candidates called for interview will be paid TA as per Government Orders. However, no TA is payable to any candidate for appearing in the written examination. Candidates who qualify for Interview will be recommended for appointment by the Commission on the basis of total marks in the Written Examination and Interview.

Candidates, who are appointed on the basis of this examination, shall be on probation for a period of two years and during the period of probation, the candidates would be required to undergo such training or pass such examinations as prescribed by the Controlling Authority. On successful completion of the period of probation, the candidates shall, if considered fit for permanent appointment, be confirmed to their post by the Controlling Authority.
