Board of Secondary Education, Govt of Tamilnadu will soon announce Tamilnadu SSLC Exam Time Table 2015/Tamilnadu 10th Class Time Table 2015/TN SSLC Board Time Table 2015 and Tamilnadu 10th Class(SSLC) Exam Schedule 2015. Tamilnadu SSLC Exam Time Table 2015 will be declared by the director of government examinations, Govt of Tamilnadu. Tamilnadu 10th Class/SSC 2015 Exams Time Table will likely be announced in the month of November/December 2014. Lacks of candidates have been appearing for the TN SSLC board examinations in Tamilnadu every year.

DGE’s (Director of Government Examinations) office conducts TN 10th Class SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) examinations every year in Tamilnadu. About 10,00,000 candidates appear for TN SSLC Board examinations every year. Directorate of Government Examinations is an independent department functioning under ministry of Secondary Education, Government of Tamilnadu. The Department is responsible for conducting the SSLC Public Examinations.

Education Structure in Tamilnadu

The Structure of education in Tamilnadu is based on the national level pattern with 12 years of schooling (10+2+3), consisting of eight years of elementary education, that is, 5 years of primary and 3 years of middle school education for the age groups of 6-11 and 11-14 years, respectively, followed by secondary and higher secondary education of two years each besides two years of pre-primary education. The entry age in class 1 is 5+. Pre-primary classes form age group 3 to 4. The higher secondary school certificate enables pupils to pursue studies either in universities or in colleges for higher education in general academic streams and in technical and professional courses such B.E., MBBS., elementary teacher training (ETT) etc., which are of different durations.
