Telangana Govt Pensions from 8th November 2014
Telangana Government will be paying new enhanced pensions from the 8th of November 2014. Telangana Govt enhanced social security pensions amount from Rs200 to Rs1000. Rs1000 pension will be paid to Widow and Old age people. Rs1500 pension will be paid to physically handicapped people. For the first month, new pension amount will directly be paid to the beneficiaries on the 8th November 2014.
Telangana government has so far scrutinized 50% of the new pension applications. A total of 39,90,197 pension applications have been received for the social security pensions in the state. A total of 92,06,366 applications have been received for Food Security Cards/Aahara Bhadratha Cards. Remaining 50% of the applications will be scrutinized during this week and New Pensions will be paid from 8.11.2014
