Telangana Public Holiday on 19th August 2014
Telangana State government has issued a G.O Rt. No.360 on the 11th of August 2014 for declaring a public holiday on the 19th of August 2014 on the occasion of Telangana Survey which is also called as Telangana Samagra Kutumba Survey 2014. Public holiday applicable to all districts of Telangana. All government offices, Private establishments, Schools, Colleges will remain closed on that day. So that the people of telangana state can enroll for this mega survey. The following is the government order which has been released on 11.08.2014
HOLIDAYS – General Holiday for all the Government Offices, under the Negotiable Instruments Act on 19.08.2014 (Tuesday) in connection with Intensive Household Survey throughout the Telangana State, including the GHMC area– Notification – Issued

The following Notification will be published in an extraordinary issue of Telangana State Gazette.
NOTIFICATION
The Government hereby order that 19.08.2014 (Tuesday) shall be General Holiday to the Government Offices/Schools/Colleges including Banks under Negotiable Instruments Act located in Telangana State including GHMC area in connection with Intensive Household Survey.
