26th December 2014 Public Holiday for Boxing Day

26th December 2014 Public Holiday is declared by the Telangana Govt. The TS Govt has declared 26.12.2014 as Public Holiday for Boxing Day. Earlier Optional Holiday was declared for Boxing Day for the state government. But the TS Govt has changed it from optional holiday to public holiday. All government institutions, schools, organizations will remain closed on the 26th December 2014 on the eve of Boxing Day. Telangana Govt has released G.O.Rt.No.1432d Dated 23.12.2014 for this purpose.

ORDER:
1.In the G.O. read above, Government have issued orders declaring 26.12.2014 (Friday) as Optional Holiday on the occasion of Boxing Day
2.Further, Government have decided to declare 26th December, 2014 as Public Holiday instead of Optional Holiday. Accordingly the following notification is issued and shall be published in the extra-ordinary Gazette of Telangana State

NOTIFICATION

In partial modification of the orders issued in G.O.Rt.No.5236, General Administration (Poll.A) Department, dated 29.11.2013, notifying the General Holidays and Optional Holidays, the Government hereby declare 26.12.2014 (Friday) as Public Holiday on the occasion of Boxing Day, instead of Optional Holiday, declared earlier.
