Anganwadi Teachers Helpers Salaries Enhanced

Telangana Anganwadi Teachers, Anganwadi Workers, Anganwadi Helpers Salaries has been Enhanced. Telangana State Govt has enhanced Anganwadi Worker (Anganwadi Teacher) Salary from Rs4200 to Rs7000 and Anganwadi Helpers salary increased from Rs2450 to Rs4500. Anganwadi Salary hike will be implemented from theĀ  month of March 2015.

Telagnana Govt Finance Minister Mr.E.Rajendar today announced that the TRS Govt is going to increase Anganwadi Salaries from March 2015. Rs1000 one time grant will likely be granted for all Anganwadi Centers for purchasing vessels. This is really a very good news for the Anganwadi Workers and Anganwadi Helpers.

This is really a good news for all Anganwadi workers and helpers who have been serving from several years with low salary. G.O’s regarding Anganwadi teachers, helpers salary increase will soon be released by the TS Govt.

ICDS Department is providing non formal Pre-School Education and care to 17,97,230 Children between the age group of 3 years to 6 years through 80,481 Anganwadi Centers and 10,826 Mini AWCs in AP and Telangana States. Pre-School Kit is developed and supplied to all Anganwadi Centres with the help of experts like Andhra Mahila Sabha in Pre-School Education.



The following services are rendered through the Anganwadi Centers.

To reduce Malnutrition in 0-6 year Children.
Reduction of Children with low Birth Weight.
To reduce Infant Mortality Rate.
To reduce Maternal Mortality Rate.
To educate Mothers about Nutrition & Health.
To reduce anemia, Vitamin A deficiency and Iodine deficiency among the Children below 6 years and Mothers.
To improve the Feeding Practices.
To achieve the above goals Supplementary Nutrition Programme is provided to the Children 6 months-06 years, Pregnant and Lactating Mothers.
