May Day Holiday on 1st May 2015

May Day Holiday on 1st May 2015 declared by Telangana state Govt. TS Govt has issued a G.O Rt.No.1240 Dated 30.04.2015 regarding May Day Holiday on 1.05.2015. Under Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, the Telangana govt has declared Holiday on May Day. The following is the May Day Holiday G.O No.1240 copy.

HOLIDAYS – Declaration of 01.05.2015 (Friday) on the occasion of MAY DAY as Public Holiday under Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 – Notification – Orders – Issued

GENERAL ADMINISTRATION (POLL.A) DEPARTMENT G.O.RT.No. 1240, Dated: 30.04.2015 Read the following:

2) From the Secretary, Reserve Bank of India Employees Association, Hyderabad and the General Secretary, Bank Employees Federation of India, Hyderabad, letter dated: 15.04.2015 (received on 20.04.2015)
3) Govt Letter No. 249/Poll.A/2015-1, dated: 25.04.2015
4) From the Manager (Personnel), Reserve Bank of India, Lr.No. HRMD (H)7643/09.15.01/2014-15,dated: 28.04.2015

ORDER:
In the G.O. 1st read above, Government have issued orders declaring the General Holidays under N.I.Act, 1881 for the year 2015.

2) In the reference 2nd read above, the Secretary, Reserve Bank of India Employees Association, Hyderabad and the General Secretary, Bank Employees Federation of India, Hyderabad have requested to declare holiday on the Occasion of May Day, 2015

3) The Government, after careful consideration of the matter, have decided to declare the Holiday on the occasion of MAY DAY (i.e.) on 01.05.2015 (Friday) under the Explanation to Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (Central Act XXVI of 1881). Accordingly, the following
notification is issued and shall be published in the extra-ordinary Gazette of Telangana State:

NOTIFICATION

In partial modification of the orders issued in G.O.Rt.No.996, General Administration (Poll.A) Department, dated 05.11.2014, the Government hereby declare 01.05.2015 (Friday) as Public Holiday on the occasion of MAY DAY under N.I.Act, 1881.
