MLC Elections 2015 will be conducted in AP & Telangana for Teachers constituencies and Graduate Constituencies in March 2015. MLC Elections 2015 will be held for Teacher Constituencies in AP & Graduate Constituencies in Telangana. ECI has released MLC Elections 2015 Voters List and Schedule.

MLC 2015 elections schedule is as follows
1. MLC Election Notification: 19th February 2015
2. Acceptance of Nominations: Upto 26th February 2015
3. Withdrawal of Nominations: 2nd March 2015
4. MLC Elections 2015 Polling: 22nd March 2015 (Re-Scheduled)
5. Counting: 25th March 2015.
Revised MLC Elections 2015 Schedule and Notification
Mahabubnagar, Hyderabad and Rangareddy districts are in 1 graduate constituency and Warangal, Khammam and Nalgonda are in another graduate constituency. MLC Elections 2015 Voters List has already been released by the election commission. East Godavari and West Godavari districts are in 1 Teachers Constituency while Krishna District and Guntru District are in another teacher constituency which are going for polls in March 2015.

Eligible persons for teachers constituencies and graduate constituencies should apply for enrollment of their names in the prescribed Form 18 as claims along with supporting document(s).
Procedure for enumeration for Graduates’ Constituencies:
The eligibility of a person for enrollment in a Graduates’ Constituency is a person who has been, for at least three years before the qualifying date, a graduate of any University in the territory of India or has been in possession of equivalent qualifications prescribed in the list and is ordinarily resident of the constituency is entitled to be registered as an elector in a Graduates’ Constituency.

Procedure for enumeration for Teachers’ Constituencies
The eligibility of a person for enrollment in a Teachers’ constituency is a person shall be entitled to be registered as elector in a Teachers’ Constituency, if
(a) he has been engaged in teaching, within the six years immediately before the qualifying date for a total period of three years,
(b) he has been so engaged in teaching for the said period in any of educational institutions not lower in standard than that of secondary school as have been specified as such by the State Government, withthe concurrence of the Election Commission, by notification in the official gazette, and
(c) the person concerned is ordinarily resident within the territorial extent of the Teachers’ Constituency in which he seeks enrollment.
