Telangana Survey on 19th August 2014

Telangana Survey will be held on the 19th of August 2014. Telangana intensive house hold survey will be conducted on 19.08.2014 to get correct information about the families living in the state of Telangana. Public Holiday has been declared in view of the Telangana Survey on this day throughout the state. Holiday is applicable for all government organizations, schools, offices. Telangana state government has sanctioned 20 crore rupees for this survey. There are 10 districts in Telangana. Adilabad, Mahabubnagar, Khammam, Nalgonda, Medak, Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Warangal district will be sanctioned 2 crore rupees each for the successful conduct of this survey.

Telangana Government has issued G.O Rt.No.360 dated 11.08.2014 declaring public holiday on the 19th August 2014 for Telangana Survey. Later the government has issued another G.O Rt.No.75, Dated 12.08.2014 for declaring a public holiday under telangana shops and establishment act for shops and private establishments situated with in the state. Every person need to be available at the home to take participation in this survey.

The Telangana state government has started a website http://tsks.nic.in/ (Telangana Samagra Kutumba Survey 2014) for this purpose. People can download Telangana Survey forms from this website. Forms are available in both Telugu and English language.


The state government appointing about 40,000 enumerators to complete this task successfully. Teachers and Policemen have been appointed for this purpose. They will visit all the houses on the 19.08.2014 and collect data from the people. They have to fill the survey format. Head of the family has to sign the survey form. Enumerators manuals are available in the official website http://tsks.nic.in. If the house is door locked, then write only the name of the head of the household by asking the neighbors, leaving all other fields vacant. Enumerators have to refer to the Government (State / Central) issued documents to collect the actual information. The documents like Aadhaar card, Bank pass book, Post office pass book, Gas connection book, Educational qualification certificates, Disability (SADAREM) certificate, Land documents..etc
