TNPSC Group 4 Notification
Earlier TNPSC (Tamilnadu Public Service Commission) has issued Group 4 recruitment notification for 4963 vacancies of Junior Assistant (Secured), Junior Assistant (Non-Secured), Grade 1 Bill Collector, Typist, Grade 3 Steno Typist, Field Surveyor, Draftsman on the 14th of October 2014. Today is the last date to submitted application forms for this TNPSC Group 4 Recruitment. Last date for payment of Fee through Bank (or) Post Office is 14th November 2014. TNPSC Group 4 written examination will be held on the 21st December 2014 from 10am to 1pm across all major cities and towns in Tamilnadu. It is expected that huge number of candidates will appear for TNPSC Group 4 written examination. Candidates who applied and appear for this recruitment need to download his/her TNPSC Group 4 Hall Tickets from the commission’s website which is mentioned above.
Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies. This is the common qualification for all group 4 jobs for which recruitment notification is released. However technical qualifications, computer qualifications are different from post to post. Candidates selected for appointment to the posts will be required to produce a Certificate of Physical Fitness.
TNPSC Group 4 Written Exam Scheme
TNPSC Group 4 written examination will be held for single paper of SSLC standard. written examination will be held for 300 marks, and minimum qualifying marks for selection are 90. The following subjects will be covered in the examination
General Studies – 75 items
Aptitude Test – 25 items
General Tamil or General English – 100 items
Total – 200 items.
Two types of question papers will be set. One type of question paper will contain questions on General Studies (75 items) + Aptitude Test (25 items) and General English (100 items). The other will contain questions on General Studies (75 items) + Aptitude Test (25 items) and General Tamil (100 items). Candidates are given the option to choose either General Tamil or General English for answering the second 100 items apart from answering the first (75+25)100 items on General Studies and Aptitude Test. The questions on General Studies will be set both in English and Tamil and the questions on General Tamil/ General English will be set in the respective languages.
