TNPSC inviting applications through online mode upto 12.11.2014 for admission to the Written Examination for direct recruitment of Junior Assistant, Bill Collector, Grade-1, Typist, Steno-Typist, Grade – 3, Field Surveyor, Draftsman. TNPSC Group 4 Eligibility

Age Limit: 18 years to 30 years as on 01.07.2014. However maximum age relaxation is applicable for the reserved candidates. Download TNPSC Group 4 Notification 2014 for more information regarding age limit.
Educational Qualifications: Candidates Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies. TECHNICAL QUALIFICATION:
(a) FOR TYPIST:
Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting:-
(i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or)
(ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or)
(iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.
(b) FOR STENO-TYPIST, GRADE 3:
Must have passed the Government Technical Examination both in Typewriting and in Shorthand:-
(i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or)
(ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or)
(iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.

TNPSC Group 4 Selection Procedure
Based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the Written Examination the list of candidates summoned for counselling will be announced in the Commission’s website. After verification of the original certificates the candidates will be selected for the unit / department based on the option exercised and on eligibility at the time of counselling.
Examination Fee
Examination Fee Rs.75/-Cost of Application Rs.50/-Total Rs.125/
Candidates claiming exemption from examination fee should pay only Rs.50/- towards Application fee. (No exemption for cost of application)
2) Candidates should also to pay the service charges applicable to the Bank (or) Post Office (or) Fee Processing Agency.
3) Candidates can avail of the facility of the One – Time Registration on payment of Rs. 50/- towards registration fee. The registration shall be valid for a period of five years from the date of one – time registration.
