UPSC CDS 1 Exam 2015 Notification
UPSC CDS 1 Exam 2015 Notification will release on 8th November 2014. UPSC CDS 1 Exam 2015 Online Apply process likely starts from 8th November 2014. UPSC CDS 1 Exam 2015 will be held on the 15th February 2015. Last date to apply for this exam is 5th December 2014. Eligible and interested candidates need to apply online for the UPSC CDS 1 Exam 2015 at the official website http://www.upsconline.nic.in. UPSC Combined Defence Services examination will be conducted by the union public service commission for the admission into Indian military academy, Indian naval academy, Indian air force academy, and officer training academy.
UPSC conducts CDS examination twice a year. UPSC CDS 1 Exam (CDSE 2015) will be conducted for Maths, English and GK Papers. Written Exam consists of Objective Type questions in Maths, General Knowledge and English. CDS 1 Exam time duration is 2hrs and maximum marks are 100 for each subject. Candidates who have got past the CDS 1 written exam will be called for intelligence and personality test at the Service Selection Board (SSB) based on their preference.
UPSC CDS 1 Exam 2015 Eligibility
Educational Qualifications:
Officers’ Training Academy: Degree of a recognized University.
Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Candidates who are in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply. Candidates should be unmarried. Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to Combined Defence Services Examination.
Selection Procedure: Written test will be conducted by the UPSC. Candidates will be selected for interview basing on the performance in the UPSC CDS 1 written Examination.
Application Fee: Application fee will be Rs200. And no application fee for SC/ST/Woman candidates. Candidates need to pay the application fee in form of e-challan.
